Andrea Beltratti is Full Professor in the Department of Finance at Bocconi University, Academic Director of the Executive Master in Finance – EMF at SDA Bocconi School of Management and Chairman of the EFG Gamma Foundation. He has been Chairman of Eurizon Capital until 2024 and of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo until May 2013. 

Andrea has a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University, where he wrote a dissertation on financial market volatility under the supervision of Prof. Robert Shiller. He has been member of the Board of Directors of EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association), President of the FEDUF (Fondazione per Educazione Finanziaria), and part of Investment Committees of institutional investors.

Annamaria Lusardi is Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), and the Director of the Initiative for Financial Decision-Making, a collaboration between SIEPR, the Graduate School of Business (GSB), and the Economics Department at Stanford University. She is also Professor of Finance (by courtesy) at the GSB. Previously, she was University Professor at The George Washington University and, before that, she was the Joel Z. and Susan Hyatt Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College, where she started her academic career.

She has also taught at Princeton University, the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy and Booth School of Business, and Columbia Business School. She was also a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University and an honorary doctorate from the University of Vaasa in Finland.

One of the most cited authors in financial literacy, Lusardi is the founder and Academic Director of the Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center (GFLEC), which has done pioneering work on personal finance education. She has published close to 100 articles and books, including publications in the American Economic Review and the Journal of Political Economy. She is the founder and inaugural editor of the Journal of Financial Literacy and Wellbeing, published by Cambridge University Press.

Lusardi served as a faculty advisor for the Office of Financial Education at the U.S. Treasury. From 2017 to 2023, she was the Director of the Italian Financial Education Committee in charge of designing and implementing a national strategy for financial literacy in Italy. Her research is featured regularly in media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Forbes, and CNBC.

Moz Afzal is the Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and a member of the Global Business Committee of EFG International since 01 February 2024. 

As part of his global role, Moz Afzal oversees EFG’s Asset Management activities, and is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EFG Asset Management.

Moz Afzal first joined EFG in 1994. He was appointed as Head of Investments for EFG Private Bank (UK) Ltd in March 2003 and became Chief Investment Officer of EFG International in 2010. During his tenure at EFG, Moz Afzal has held a number of roles, including managing a series of fixed income, equity and multi-asset portfolios targeted at retail, professional and institutional clients. He currently chairs EFG’s Asset Allocation Committee, as well as a number of sub-committees, including the Private Markets Sub-Committee. 

Prior to joining EFG, Moz Afzal was an analyst in the Macro-economic Policy Division at HM Treasury. 

Moz Afzal was born in 1968 and is a British citizen. He holds a BSc Hons Degree in Mathematics and Business from Middlesex University and an MBA from Aston University.

Evgenia Goti has been the Global Head of Wealth Planning team and offering at EFG since July 2023, and is a member of the the Investment & Client Solutions Management Committee. She leads a dedicated team of highly experienced Wealth Planners providing holistic advice on the entire client’s wealth lifecycle.

Evgenia is a qualified tax lawyer and senior Wealth Planner with more than 15 years of experience in the field of wealth planning, advising international UHNWI and their family offices on wealth structuring, asset protection and succession planning and developing wealth structuring services and products. She has an extensive experience in structuring shipping families’ business and private wealth.

Before joining EFG Evgenia worked for more than seven years at Credit Suisse in Zurich, and previously was Senior Tax Associate at Zepos & Yannopoulos in Athens. She holds an LLB from University of Athens, an LLM from University of London and is the author of several publications on international tax with Bloomberg BNA and IBFD.

Since 2022, Andrea Sironi has been a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali as well as President Bocconi University in Milan, where he also serves as Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries.
He graduated in Economics from the Bocconi University in Milan. In addition to being Rector of Bocconi University, he also held the role of Vice Rector for International Relations, Dean of the Graduate School and director of the research division of SDA Bocconi. His research activity has so far mainly concerned the measurement and management of risks in financial institutions and the regulation of markets and financial institutions. He has published numerous articles in national and international scientific journals and numerous Italian and international books.

He was financial analyst at Chase Manhattan Bank in London, Chair of CEMS, the global alliance of management schools, member of the board of directors of London Stock Exchange Group, Banco Popolare, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Unicredit Group and Intesa Sanpaolo. He was Vice-chair of Banca Aletti and Chair of Borsa Italiana.
