Andrea Beltratti

is Full Professor in the Department of Finance at Bocconi University, Academic Director of the Executive Master in Finance – EMF at SDA Bocconi School of Management,  Chairman of Eurizon Capital and Chairman of the Gamma Foundation. He has been Chairman of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo until May 2013.

Andrea has a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University, where he wrote a dissertation on financial market volatility under the supervision of Prof. Robert Shiller. He has been member of the Board of Directors of EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association), President of the FEDUF (Fondazione per Educazione Finanziaria), and part of Investment Committees of institutional investors.

Piergiorgio Pradelli

is Group CEO of EFG International and of EFG Bank since 01 January 2018, and is a member of the respective Executive Committees. He is also a member of the Global Business Committee of EFG International, and he holds several non-executive Board positions in other entities directly or indirectly controlled by EFG International.

 

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Giorgio Pradelli served as Deputy CEO and CFO of EFG International and of EFG Bank from January 2014 and from June 2012, respectively. Before joining EFG International, he was Head of International Operations at Eurobank Ergasias SA and a member of the Executive Committee from 2006 until 2012. Prior to that, he served as Deputy Finance Director for EFG Bank European Financial Group SA in London from 2003 to 2006. In this role, he was involved in major restructuring and strategic initiatives at EFG Bank European Financial Group SA, notably the initial public offering of EFG International in 2005.

 

Mr Pradelli started his career at Deutsche Bank, where he held a number of senior management positions, including serving as Head of Private & Business Banking in Italy and Head of Business Development for the Private Clients and Asset Management Group in Frankfurt and London from 1991 until 2003.

 

Mr Pradelli is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Swiss Asset and Wealth Management Banks (VAV/ABG) and of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce in Zurich.

 

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Turin, Italy.

Franco Polloni

is the Head of EFG’s Switzerland & Italy Region. He is also a member of EFG International’s Global Business Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of EFG Bank. Mr. Polloni joined EFG in May 2017 as Head of Central Switzerland, Ticino & Italy Region.

Before joining EFG, Mr. Polloni was Head of Private Clients & Asset Management and Member of the Executive Board of Banca del Ceresio in Lugano, a role he took in December 2014. Between 2008 and 2014, he held various leadership positions at BSI and was Head of Private Banking Switzerland and member of the Group Executive Board from 2008 to 2010. From 2001 to 2008, he worked at Banca del Gottardo, where he was appointed as Member of the Executive Board in 2006 and served as Head Products & Services until the bank’s integration into BSI in 2008. From 1997 to 2001 he has worked for Coopers & Lybrand (later PricewaterhouseCoopers) as manager in tax department advising international corporations and individuals. He began his career in 1993 with Ernst & Young in Zurich.

He holds a degree in business and economics from the University of Zurich and a diploma as a Swiss federal tax expert, a Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Franco Polloni is a Swiss citizen and was born in 1965.

Moz Afzal

is the Global CIO of EFG Asset Management and the CEO of EFG Asset Management (UK). He is Chairman of the EFGAM Asset Allocation Committee, and has overall supervisory responsibility for the investment process. 

He joined EFG Private Bank in 1994, and was appointed as a director and CIO of EFG Private Bank Limited in March 2003 and as a director of EFG Asset Management Limited in January 2000. 

During his tenure at EFG, Moz has held a number of roles and has been responsible for the management of a series of fixed income funds and portfolios as well as holding supervisory roles in a number of multi-manager hedge and equity funds as well as managing portfolios for Retail, Professional and Institutional Clients. Moz was responsible for the integration and absorption of the EFG Asset Management Limited business into EFG Private Bank Limited as well as the integration of the asset management business acquired in 2005. 

Prior to joining EFG he was an analyst in the Macro-economic Policy Division at HM Treasury. Moz holds a BSc Hons Degree in Mathematics from Middlesex University and an MBA from Aston University.

Alessia Stopper

has been Private Banking Team Head at EFG since 2017 and Gamma Foundation board member since 2019. In her job Mrs. Stopper manages and coordinates the private banking Client Relationship Officers in Lugano. She joined EFG following the acquisition of BSI, where she held the same role since 2003. Previously she had been Head of the Desk at Private banking team and Senior Client Relationship Officer at BSI Lugano. 

Alessia started her career at BSI in 1992 in the context of the Graduated programme of the bank and is a Swiss and Italian citizen, with a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Florence, Italy.
