R.P. is the Founder and CEO of Ergo, an intelligence and advisory firm which serves leaders of governments and corporations, and is hailed by the Harvard Business Review as, “breaking from industry orthodoxy with a radical new model.” He is the co-author of best-selling and award winning, Warnings: Finding Cassandras to Stop Catastrophes, which predicted a pandemic like COVID, and how to prevent it — Eddy led the process to build the first White House policy on pandemic diseases.

Foreign Policy Magazine noted R.P. as one of the U.S.’s “most esteemed terrorism and national security experts.” R.P. served as a Director on the White House National Security Council. He was Chief of Staff to the US Ambassador to the UN Richard Holbrooke where Eddy drafted and negotiated the first UN Security Council Resolution on HIV/AIDS. He was a member of the State Department Senior Executive Service.

R.P. helped oversee the intelligence and security of the U.S. nuclear weapons complex. Later, as a senior UN diplomat, R.P. was Senior Policy Officer to the UN Secretary-General and was an architect of the Global Fund to Prevent AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria which has since saved over 50 million lives. Secretary-General Kofi Annan and this United Nations team were awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for their work on HIV.

Eddy is the CEO of Four Rivers, an investment firm, and the Cassandra Foundation. He is Executive Producer of the Warnings TV project with Participant Media. He was a creator of the “Summit on the Social Media Emergency.” He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations, member of the Trilateral Commission and National Security Leaders for America, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Michael V. Hayden Center for Intelligence, Policy, and International Security. He founded the Center for Policing Terrorism, which served as the counterterrorism think tank for the NYPD and LAPD after 9/11, and was the Chairman of the Los Angeles Counterterrorism Commission.

R.P. has testified in front of the U.S. Congress, spoke at the Nobel Prize Summit, and contributed to major media. The World Economic Forum at Davos honored R.P. as a “Global Leader for Tomorrow.” Eddy has been a Producer on jazz albums which have won three Grammys. R.P. has a B.Sc in Neuroscience from Brown University.
