President and founder of TLSG-International a Washington D.C. based consulting firm specializing in economic and geopolitical risks. TSLG’s clients include leading corporations and financial institutions in the United States and in Europe.

 

From 2005 to 2012 Dr. Sadun was an Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund-IMF, directly responsible for a number of countries, including Italy, Portugal, Greece, and others particularly affected by the financial crisis.

 

From 2003 to 2005 Dr. Sadun was Director of the Economic and Financial Analysis Department at the Italian Treasury in Rome.

 

Prior to entering the public sector, Dr. Sadun had a long and distinguished career in the private sector serving as President of the world-renowned econometric forecasting firms Chase Econometrics, Wharton Econometrics and ultimately the WEFA Group established by the merger of the worldwide activities of the two companies.

 

After obtaining a Doctorate on Political Science from the Sapienza University in Rome, Dr. Sadun earned a M.A. degree in International Relations and a Ph.D. in International Economics at the Johns Hopkins University-SAIS in Washington D.C.

 

Dr. Sadun is a member of various international organizations including the Aspen Institute-Italy and the Council for the USA-Italy Relations. He is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and industry associations in Europe and the USA and a contributor to national newspapers.
